Chapter 5Operations — Projecting with MEMORY VIEWER input

When automatic playback is disabled
This section describes the operation method when the [NETWORK/USB] menu [MEMORY VIEWER]
[AUTOPLAY] (x page 146) is set to [OFF].
In this case, les to be projected are selected and played back one by one.
1) Press asqw to select a file from the thumbnail, and press the <ENTER> button.
f Playback starts in the full-screen display.
f Press the <ENTER> button during playback to pause playback. Press it again to resume playback from the
position where the playback has been stopped.
f After playback ends, playback goes into pause state at the beginning of the le.
f Press w during playback to perform the fast-forward playback. The speed is increased every time w is
pressed. (3 levels)
f Press q during playback to perform the rewind playback. The speed is increased every time q is pressed.
(3 levels)
f Press a during playback to play back the le being played back from the start. (cue)
f Press w while paused to play back the next le skipping the le being played back.
f Press q while paused to go back and play back the previous le.
2) Press the <AUTO SETUP/CANCEL> button.
f Full-screen display ends and the Memory Viewer screen in thumbnail view returns.

f When the recorded number of pixels is smaller than the maximum number of display dot

, it will be displayed enlarged maintaining the
aspect ratio.
f When the recorded number of pixels is larger than the maximum number of display dot
*1
, it will be displayed reduced maintaining the aspect
ratio.
f Order of the playback follows the display order set in the [NETWORK/USB] menu [MEMORY VIEWER] [SORT] (x page 146).
Also in the cases where still image and movie les both exist in the same folder, they are played back according to the [SORT] setting.
f The time bar in the operating guide at the bottom of the playback screen can be erased by setting the [NETWORK/USB] menu
[MEMORY VIEWER] [GUIDE] (x page 146) to [OFF].
f Playback ends and the Memory Viewer screen returns when the contents list is distributed using the “Multi Monitoring & Control Software”
during playback. To resume the playback of movies, perform the playback operation after the distribution of contents list is completed.

PT-MZ670, PT-MZ570: 1 920 x 1 080
PT-MW630, PT-MW530: 1 280 x 800
Resume playback
When the automatic playback is disabled (the [NETWORK/USB] menu [MEMORY VIEWER] [AUTOPLAY]
(x page 146) is set to [OFF]), resume playback can be performed.
Resume playback is a function that stops movie playback in the middle and restarts playback from the position
where the movie has been stopped the last time when the same le is to be played back next time.
The following operations resume playback from the position where the last playback has been stopped.
f Stopping movie playback in the middle, going back to the Memory Viewer screen, and then selecting the same
movie le again and playing it back
f After playing back other movie or still image les, selecting the previous movie le and playing it back
Note
f Resume information (information on the position when movie playback is stopped in the middle) is automatically saved at the time when
playback is paused by pressing the <ENTER> button during playback or when full-screen display is ended by pressing the <AUTO SETUP/
CANCEL> button during playback.
f Resume information (information on the position when movie playback is stopped in the middle) of 50 movie les can be saved. After the
51st movie le is played back, resume information will be deleted in order from the oldest.
f When resume playback is performed, some les may not be played back from the correct position where the last playback has been
stopped.
f All resume information is discarded when following operation is performed.
g Removing the USB memory
g Disconnecting the power cord
