Recording operations

Before recording
Only normal position tapes are recommended.
Volume and sound quality during playback have no effect on
recording.
Erasure prevention
The illustration shows how to remove the tabs to prevent
recording. To record on the tape again, cover as shown.
To erase a recorded sound

Press [TAPE 3] and then [STOP 7, –DEMO].

Insert the recorded cassette with the tape facing out.

Press [/8 REC].
Your attention is drawn to the fact that recording pre-
recorded tapes or discs or other published or broadcast
material may infringe copyright laws.
Preparatory steps
Wind up the leader tape to begin recording immediately.
Preparation: Press [TAPE 3] and then [STOP 7, –DEMO] to
select tape as the source.
Press [OPEN 0], insert a cassette with the tape
facing out.
Close the lid by hand.
A Recording the radio
Preparation: Do the preparatory steps as above.
1 Tune to the required station.
