Using the FM radio
Radio operations are described mainly with the
remote control.
You can alternatively use the corresponding
button on the main unit.

1 Press [TUNER]

to switch the
selector to “FM”.
2 Press [6 5] to select the
frequency.
When a stereo broadcast is being received,
“ST” lights in the display.
≥To start automatic tuning, press and hold
[6 5] until the frequency starts scrolling.
Tuning stops when a station is found.
∫ If noise is excessive
Preparation
To display the picture turn on the television and
select the appropriate video input to suit the
connections to this unit.
1 Press [SUB MENU].
2Press [34] to select “Audio Mode” and press
[ENTER].
3Press [34] to select “Mono” and press
[ENTER].
≥“MONO” (monaural) lights up in the display.
≥This should normally be set to “Auto(Stereo)”.
To return to the previous screen
Press [RETURN].
To preset channels (➜ page 18, Setting preset
channels)
1 Press [TUNER]

to switch the
selector to “FM”.
2 Press the numbered buttons to
select the channel.
≥To select a 2-digit number
e.g., “12”: [S10] ➜ [1] ➜ [2].
Alternatively, press [: 9]

to select the
channel.

display
Preparation
To display the picture turn on the television and
select the appropriate video input to suit the
connections to this unit.
1 Press [TUNER]

to switch the selector to “FM”.
2 Press [TOP MENU].
3 Press [34] to select the preset channel and
press [ENTER].
To erase unnecessary preset channels
Unnecessary preset channels that have been
erased will not be displayed when selecting
channels with [: 9]
