and
player
case
with a soft,
dry cloth.
Never
use any
cleaners
containing
alcohol, benzine
or thinner,
since
the
lustre or
coating
of
the
dust
cover
and the
player
case
may
be
spoiled.
Use
of a chemical
dust
cloth and
the like should
also be avoided.
Be sure
that
the dust cover
is not exposed
to
insecticide
spray,
as
cracks or
blurs
may result.
To remove
stubborn
lingerprints
or
grease
spots
which
may
not be sufficiently
removed
with the dry cloth,
be sure
to dis-
connect
the
AC
power
plug
first, to
prevent
electric
shock.
Then
use a soft cloth
damped
with a
mild
soap
and
water
solution
and squeezed
dry,
after using,
wipe again with a sott, dry cloth
for finishing.
Don't try to
wipe the dust
cover
during
playing,
since
the
tonearm
may be aitracted
toward the dust cover, due
to static
electricity
developed
by such
wiping.
ODust
and dirt adhering
to the stylus
tip or the
record should
be
carefully removed.

lf used with
dust
and dirt
adhering to
the stylus
tip,
the stylus
will
not fit into the sound
groove
of
the
record correctly.
This
may not only result
in
the deterioration
of
tone
quality,
but
cause undue
wear
of
the
record and
the stylus
tip itself'

a
brush having soft
tips, moving it

the base
to the tip

removing the
dust and
dirt

OBefore

poussière

lecture

Lorsque la
pointe
de
lecture
est embarrassée
de
poussière,
elle ne
peut pas
s'ajuster
adéquatement dans
le
sillon.
Ceci
occasionnera
une diminution de
la
qualité
de
I'audition
sonore, et aussi, une
usure
prématurée
du disque
et de
Ia
pointe
de lecture elle-même.
Pour retirer cette
poussière,
employez
un
pinceau
à
poils
lins et essuyez
la
pointe
en
partant
de I'arrière de
la coquille et
en allant
vers I'avant.
N'oubliez
pas que
la
pointe
de
lecture et son
support sont
très fragiles et tout
mouvement brusque ou
choc
peuvent
les
endommager irrémédiablement.

ou ouvrir
l'agrafe
qui
re-
tient
le bras
de lecture
Vous devez
toujours
diminuer
le volume de
I'amplificateur
avant
d'ouvrir ou
de
fermer I'agrafe du bras
de lecture
car
la
vibration ainsi
produite
se transmet en
bruits désagréables
dans
les
haut-parleurs.
Si le niveau d'écoute
est trop élevé,
ces bruits
pourront
même
les
endommager.
