Using the Network
Function
This unit has a network function and you can control a
Display connected to the network using your computer.
The environment necessary for a
computer connection
First of all, confirm whether your computer has a wired
LAN.
Check the following settings before connecting the
Display to the computer.
Check 1: The LAN cable
●
Connect the cable properly.
●
Use a category 5 compatible LAN cable.
Check 2: Wired LAN settings
Computer with a built-in wired LAN function
●
Switch on the wired LAN.
Computer without a built-in wired LAN function
●
Check that the LAN adapter has been recognized and
it is switched on.
●
Install the wired LAN adapter driver beforehand.
Refer to the LAN adapter manual for driver installation
details.

Note
●
To use the network function, set each item in
[Network settings] and make sure to set [Network
control] to [On].
When it is set to [On], the power indicator light will be
orange under the power “Off” condition in the remote
control (stand-by state).

2. Make the network setting according to details
obtained from your System Administrator.
Notes
●
Use a shielded LAN cable to prevent the occurrence
of noise.
●
Make sure the broadband router or hub supports
10BASE-T/100BASE-TX.
●
Avoid touching the LAN terminal with your hands
or body. A static discharge could damage the
electronics.
Do not touch the LAN terminal or the metal part of the
LAN cable.
●
Consult your system administrator for instructions on
making the LAN connections.
