Two- pole application (live circuit)
Note: The search in live systems must only be performed in compliance with all safety regulations.
If short circuits or lines sought to be sorted, this can be performed on live or energized conductors.
Voltage free cables are supplied directly from the battery of the transmitter. Measurements are
given in closed circuits, eg if Junction boxes, switches, outlets or circuit breakers are searched in
active installations. The transmitter is voltage-proof up to 400V. Connect the red line to the active
phase, and the terminal of the black line to the neutral conductor.
The receiver depth is 0.5 meters, depending on the material and application. By changing the
transmitter level of the transmitter from 1 to 3, the receiver depth can be changed by a factor of x5.
Searching conductors, switches, etc. in house installations (single pole application)
In searching and tracking of conductors, switches and distribution boxes in domestic installations,
the circuit must be switched off. Furthermore, neutral and ground must be connected functional.
Connect the transmitter with the red connecting cable to the phase and the black cable to the
protective ground, as shown in the figure.
Move the sensor along the wall to follow the conductor.
The receiver depth is 2 meters, depending on the material and application. By changing the
transmitter level of the transmitter from 1 to 3, the receiver depth can be changed by a factor of x5.
Note: The signal can spread in parallel or intersecting lines. If this happens, please disconnect the
fuse connection of the parasitical circuits.
