Searching constrictions (single pole application)
In order to find constrictions or blockages in pipes or cable ducts, all electrical conductors must be
disconnected from it and connected to the protective earth. This prevents, that the test signal
scatters into the continuous lines, and a test of the constriction is no longer possible.
Shove a copper wire or a pull wire as far as possible into the tube, which is connected to the red
connector on the transmitter. Connect the black cable with protective ground.
After activation, you follow the signal of the transmitter with the receiver until the signal is no longer
present. At this point the copper wire / pulling wire ends and through this, it is the point where the
constriction in the pipe / conduit is.
The receiver depth is 2 meters, depending on the material and application. By changing the
transmitter level of the transmitter from 1 to 3, the receiver depth can be changed by a factor of x5.
