Search of line- breakers / circuits in the distribution panel (two-pole application)
Note: The search in live systems must only be performed in compliance with all safety regulations.
Connect the red and black leads with the phase and neutral terminal of the socket. Turn on the
transmitter to LEVEL 1, so that a proper identification of the circuit breaker is possible. Move the
receiver above the fuses / cables until the signal is strongest.
Since the accuracy of the search depends heavily on the order of connecting cables in the
distribution, it is recommended to remove all the covers of the distribution and to measure the
incoming conductors of the circuits directly.
If the search is done directly at the fuses and no unique assignment is possible, it can help to rotate
the receiver by 90 ° to the side, as the installation position of the internal coil of the fuses of
different manufacturers may vary. Perform this measurement to the highest possible precision in
the selective mode with minimal sensitivity.
