PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
Periodic inspection of the equipment is necessary to ensure that it is clean and free of dust and
other debris. The top of the equipment should be checked for cleanliness or dirt. It is vital that all
terminals and wiring connections are kept free from corrosion.
Only persons trained and authorized by the manufacturer are authorized to service this equipment,
as improper intervention by an unskilled person may cause damage to the equipment and the
generator.
To Perform Equipment Cleaning, disconnect the equipment from the generator by following the
safety rules described in this manual.
ONLY REMOVE THE EQUIPMENT WITH THE MACHINE COMPLETELY STOPPED!
The equipment can be cleaned with a dry flannel, or a brush until all the dust and accumulated
debris is removed.
Any damage that occurs to the equipment that makes it impossible to operate, refer the voltage
regulator to our technical assistance, which will evaluate and analyze the same. Do not perform
any repairs or repairs on this equipment, as only our service department is responsible for this
type of maintenance.
As described in the first paragraph, maintenance may be carried out by qualified personnel on the
voltage regulator and cleaning of the equipment, as described above.
RISK REDUCTION
To reduce electrical risks and risk of burns due to the high temperature present in some components
of the equipment, and the operator can freely access the equipment, the primary machine (which
activates the generator) must be turned off and the regulator power must be turned off. electrical
hazards are brought to zero because there will be no voltage reaching the equipment terminals, the
only risk you still have is the high temperature present in some components of the circuit and may
be attenuated if you wait a few minutes until the surface of the equipment cools down, trained to
access the equipment soon after.
If the equipment is incorrectly connected or otherwise specified in the diagrams described in item 7,
the equipment may be permanently damaged, as well as the generator in which the generator and
voltage regulator can be burned, compromising the protection of the equipment, increasing safety
risks (shocks, arcs, high temperatures).
The protection provided by the equipment may be impaired if it is not used as specified in the
manual.
