What to do if the System Status Light is red on my Pentair INTELLIpH?

  If the System Status Light is red on your Pentair Dispenser, it could be due to several reasons: * The system attempted to dispense acid, but no flow was detected in the cell. Check and confirm sufficient water flow through the IntelliChlor® SCG. * The IntelliChlor cell was not ready because it was undergoing a salinity check. Wait until the IntelliChlor® SCG completes its 2-minute salinity check cycle. * There is a cell communication link problem. Check the terminal block from the IntelliTouch® or EasyTouch® Control System. * The water temperature is too low (below 52°F or 12.2°C). The unit will not dispense under these conditions.

Why is the acid pump not running on my Pentair INTELLIpH?

  If the acid pump on your Pentair Dispenser isn't running, it might be because the hourly acid dose size is too small for dispensing every hour. To resolve this, you can manually activate the pump by pressing MENU, then selecting MANUALLY DISPENSE ACID. Alternatively, the pump may not be working, in which case you should replace it. You can also increase the Dispense Amount setting.

  If the pH level in your pool is too high when using the Pentair Dispenser, it may be because the Intelli-pH is not properly tuned to your pool's specific needs. To correct this, press the MORE button to increase the Dispense Amount.

  If the pH level in your pool is too low when using the Pentair Dispenser, the Intelli-pH might not be correctly tuned to your pool's requirements. To fix this, press the LESS button to decrease the Dispense Amount.
