Oil Filter
- Construction and Function
This engine employs a cartridge type filter.
Pressurized oil from the oil pump enters from

and is filtered by a fuli flow filter, before
discharge
through (B).
When the full flow filter is clogged, the safety
valve opens to bypass the oil.
-
Maintenance
A. The oil filter must be replaced every 100 hours
of
operation.
When installing a new filter, coat its mounting
face
with clean oil then hand tighten only.
