Removal of the battery
To access the battery, remove the passenger saddle
and the battery cover.
Disconnect the battery in the following order:
1. The negative terminal.
2. The positive terminal.
Battery charge
The battery must be charged in a well-ventilated area with
a suitable charger that can feed a tenth of the battery
capacity to avoid premature destruction. You are
therefore advised to go to a registered dealer to carry out
this operation.
Batteries contain sulphuric acid. Do not allow it to come
into contact with skin or eyes. While the battery is
charging, it can release explosive gases. Keep sources
of sparks, flames and incandescent products away from
it.
Maintenance-free batteries
- Disconnect and remove the battery.
- Charge the battery to 100% beforehand.
- Use a maintenance charger or charge monthly.
- Before restarting, the battery must be charged to
100%.
Installing the battery
Connect the batter in the following order:
1. The positive terminal.
2. The negative terminal.
FUSES
To access the fuses, remove the passenger saddle.
