Dismantling
the
Hook
The
PFAFF
3114
hook
has
a
divided
bobbin
case.
To
dismantle
the
hook
for
cleaning
or
removing
of
thread,
proceed
as
follows:
Tilt
the
machine
over
to
the
left
and
rest
it
on
the
wooden
machine
rest
pin. Remove the bobbin case
cap
and
turn the driving pulley until the
two
hook gib screws a, and 02 on the
back
of the hook can be reached
with the
screw
driver (Photo 29).
After
removing
both
screws,
the hook
Igib can be
swung
out.
Seize
the
bobbin
case
base
by its
center
stud A,
(Photo 30)
and
turn the driving pulley until
point
S
of
the bobbin
case
base
is in line with
point
G
of
the
hook.
