Combining
motifs
to
form
a
border
Many
motifs
can
be
used
to
make
a
border.
To
do
so,
cut
a
long
strip
of
fabric.
Draw
a
line
down
the
middle
of
the
fabric
with
disappearing
chalk
or
disappearing
magic
marker.
Place
stabilizer
under
the
fabric
and
place
both
layers
into
the
hoop/frame.
Take
care
to
ensure
that
the
line
you
have
drawn
runs
parallel
to
the
embro
idery
hoop.
Select
a
pattern,
e.g.
pattern
no.
1
1
from
the
Creative
Fantasy
card
CF
7560.
and
rotate
the
pattern
9QC•
It
will
now
be
shown
lengthwise
in
the
display.
Embroider
the
pattern
onto
the
fabric.
If
you
wish
to
change
the
position
of
the
fabric
within
the
frame,
you
can
do
so
before
beginning
to
embroider
with
the
symbols
*‘vj
(see
pages
1
9
and
20).
Now
embroider
the
pattern.
