5. The standard thread tensions are as follow:
Dial 2: Needle thread .............................. 4-7
Dial 3: Upper looper thread ..................... 4-7
Dial 4: Lower looper thread ..................... 5-8
At the beginning of sewing, gently pull the
end of the thread chain to get started.
Sew at an even speed with even feeding of the
fabric for best results.
2-thread rolled hem
1. Convert to 2-thread overlock (see p. 20).
2. Use only the right needle and change the needle plate for rolled hemming (see p. 22).
