Threading the needle thread
~ Switch off the on / off switch
Raise the presser bar l ifter ( 20) and turn the
handwheel until the take-up lever (19) has
moved
to the top. Place the thread on the
spoo l holder (24) and fit the corresponding
unwinding disk.
Now . using both hands. pull the thread into
guide A and under thread guide hook D. Pass
the thread through the lefthand th reading slot
(17) and
downwa rds. Pul l the thread around
stop E into
the ri ghthand threading slot and
upwards
to the take-up lever (19). The thread
must be pulled into the take up lever (19) from
left to ri ght and downwards again in the ri gh-
thand threading slot. Finally. pass the thread
from the side behind one of the two thread
gu i des (32) .
