Floral embroidery
For this
flower arrangement, only a dense zig-
zag
stitch was used
in
combination
with
the
variable stitch
width
and the various needle
positions.

Apply iron-on backing or place silk backing

- Draw the contures
of
a flower
motif
with
a
self-erasing textile pen.

Set needle thread tension
to
"buttonhole",
select
zigzag stitch

"buttonhole".
-Flowers:
Select
center needle position @ and
embroider
individual pedals. Regulate the
stitch width according
to
the
contures
of
the flower
with
the
width
knob
(34)
during
sewing.
- Leaves:
Select right needle position @ and
embroider
half
of
the leaf. Vary the stitch
width using the
width
knob (34). Turn the
handwheel towards you after finishing the
first
half
of
the leaf until
the
needle
is
posi-
tioned
in
the material.
- Turn the material
180
degrees and embroi-
der the other
half
of
the leaf.
