When replacing an electric expansion valve (EV), following procedure should be performed to control
chamber temperature and humidity correctly.
Preparation: Set thermocouple at the center (1/2H) of the chamber before commence operation.
Ex) Using 230V/50Hz supplied unit
1. In Top Screen, select “Std-by” in the MENU bar
and press ENTER key to display Stand-by Setting
screen.
2.
Move curser and input “999” besides
“Temperature” column.
Move curser and input “0%” besides “Humidity”
column.
Select OK in the MENU bar and press ENTER
key to display Stand-by screen.
3.
Select Tools in the MENU bar and press
ENTER key to display Select Tools screen.
4.
Select “Svc” in the MENU bar and press ENTER
key to display Password screen.
5.
Input 384 besides Password column.
Select OK in the MENU bar and press ENTER
key to display Select Tools Svc screen.
6. Move curser to display “Calibration 2” with
reverse video.
Press ENTER key to display Calibration 2
screen.
7.
Move curser to the column besides “EV Control
column and change the value from “500” to “43
(fixed). Select “OK” in the MENU bar and press
ENTER key to display Select Tools Svc screen.
Run the unit for 3hours to stabilize temperature.
