Press h / b to switch between voice activation level 1 (very
sensitive, the device switches on at low volume) and level 9 (lowest
sensitivity, the device turns on at higher volume). Press + / – when
the device is in recording mode to adjust the voice activation level.

X If this feature is on, the icon is displayed.

Press + / – to select the Off function to turn o voice-activated
recording.
Tip
Press the j key to cancel the operation without saving and return
to the stop mode.
9.1.12 Setting auto divide
You can automatically divide large recordings, such as a multi-hour
meeting recording. Once the set time has been reached, the device
stops the current recording and automatically starts a new one.

Press + / – to select if you want to record to a new file every 30 or
60 minutes, or turn o this feature.

9.1.13 Enabling/disabling the record indicator
This function allows you to switch o the status LED.

Press h / b to select the device settings menu ×.

Press + / – to select the Record lamp function.

Press the record key, g, to confirm.

Press + / – to enable/disable the LED indicator.

Press the record key, g, to confirm.

Press the j key to exit the menu.

9.1.14 Selecting an external sound source
If you connect an external microphone to the device, the recording
source will switch automatically and the device's microphone will be
turned o. When you connect a mono microphone or an amplified
recording source (e.g. a stereo system) to the microphone port
(DVT3200 – DVT7000), you should set the external source.

an amplified recording source (
Line-in).
