Several functions
and
logical states of
the instrument
are continuously
internally
checked
during
normal
operation. Possible
errors are
indicated
by EO ...
E3
on the
display.
The meaning
of the
error
codes are
given in the following
table

displayed
the instrument
should
be
switched
off. If
after
switching on
the error
code
is indicated
again please
contact
the Philips service
organisation.
After switching
power off a time
interval
of at least
5 s should pass
by -allowing
the
capacitors
of the
power
supply
to discharge-
before
the device
is switched
on again. This
procedure
is necessary
to set the
internal
logic circuitry
to its
correct initial
condition.
