Technical specications for
low-power radio frequency
equipment
Without approval, businesses,
shops or users are not permitted to
change the frequency, increase the
power or change the original design
characteristics and functions of the
low-power RF equipment certied by
inspection. The use of low-power radio
frequency equipment must not aect
ight safety or interfere with lawful
communications. If any interference
is discovered, it should be stopped
immediately and improved to ensure no
interference before continuing use. The
aforementioned lawful communication
refers to radio communication operated
in accordance with the provisions of the
Telecommunications Management Act.
Low-power radio frequency equipment
must withstand interference from
lawful communications or electrical
equipment used for radio wave
radiation in industrial, scientic and
medical applications.
Wireless information transmission
equipment operating in the 5.25–5.35
GHz frequency band is limited to indoor
use only.
Avoid interfering with the operation of
nearby radar systems.
High-gain directional aerials can
only be used in xed point-to-point
systems.
