Portable RF communications equipment (including peripherals
such as antenna cables and external antennas) should be used
no closer than 30 cm (12 inches) to any part of the CROS
device or accessory, including cables specied by the
manufacturer. Otherwise, degradation of the performance of
this equipment could result.
The CROS device should not be tted with domes / wax
protection systems when used by clients with perforated
eardrums, inamed ear canals or otherwise exposed middle
ear cavities. In these cases, we recommend the use of
acustom earpiece. In the unlikely case that any part of this
product should remain in the ear canal, it is strongly
recommended to see a physician for safe removal.
For charger, use only IEC 60950-1*, IEC 62368-1 or
IEC60601-1 certied equipment with an output rating of
5VDC. Min. 500 mA.
Avoid strong physical impacts to the ear when wearing a
CROS device with customized earpiece. The stability of
customized earpieces is designed for normal use. A strong
physical impact to the ear (e.g. during sports) may cause the
customized earpiece to break. This may lead to perforation of
the ear canal or eardrum.
After mechanical stress or shock to the customized earpiece,
please ensure that it is intact before placing it in the ear.
The CROS device has to be dry before charging. Otherwise the
charging reliability cannot be guaranteed.
Your CROS device contains a lithium-ion battery with a Watt
hour rating <20 Wh which has been tested according to
UN38.3 of the “UN Manual of Tests and Criteria” and should
be shipped in accordance with all the rules and regulations on
the safe shipment of lithium-ion batteries.
Do not touch the contacts of the charger when powered.
