PiezoWalk Shearing-To-Clamping Ratio
If full-step mode is selected, the PiezoWalk Shearing-To-Clamping Ratio parameter (ID 0x07011800) gives the
ratio of the clamping time (2 * t
c
) to the whole step cycle time t
z
. Hence it directly affects the rising time of the
clamping and shearing voltages.
.
Must be in the range of 0.01 to 0.5. Since the motion of the runner is interrupted during the clamping phases, a
value higher than 0.5 is not reasonable.

Keep in mind that the PiezoWalk Shearing-To-Clamping Ratio, the step cycle time, the voltage amplitude and the
actuator capacitance affect the maximum amplifier current.
