3.0 START-UP AND OPERATION
3.1 Calibration procedure
This operation is used to specify the measurement of the pH sensor of the PICO pH.

The hydraulic tube is fitted to the strainer and pump in
the same way.
1 : Slide tube through nut
2: Engage the tube at the bottom of the conical fitting
3: Hand-tighten nut onto fitting

Insert plug into bayonet

Before proceeding with probe calibration, remember to :
Stop the filtration pump.
Close any existing isolation valves.
Remove electrode from probe holder.
Insert gasket “D” (fig. 1), then close with the plug the hole in
the probe holder left free by the probe.
Open any existing isolation valves.
Switch on the filter pump and check that the PICO pH displays
a pH value. If it displays “OFF”, press the “ON/OFF” button to
switch it on.
Proceed to calibrate the probe, then repeat the above steps
to replace the electrode.
