3.3.2 Set point adjustment
3.4 Operating principle
The PICO pH- adjusts its dosage proportionally to demand. In other words, it will dose less if the displayed
measurement is close to the set point (desired pH). To dose less, the PICO pH- interposes longer and longer
pause times between shorter and shorter run times.
As a result, the pump is often stopped, even though the display is not identical to the setpoint. It’s normal.
Adjusting the pH slowly preserves the natural quality of your water.
After 30 minutes without pressing any key, the backlight switches off to save energy. Pressing SET or CAL
briefly reactivates it.
3.5 Switching the unit off and on
When the device is switched off, “OFF” is displayed. Briefly pressing
the “ON/OFF” button switches the unit on.
Likewise, when the unit is in operation, briefly pressing the “ON/OFF”
key switches it off.
To change the setpoint value, hold down the SET button
and press the CAL button in pulses. Each press changes
the value by 0.1 pH between 7.0 and 7.6.
