6.1 Replacing the peristaltic tube
Use silicone grease to lubricate the peristaltic tube and the roller holder shaft in contact with the cover.
6.2 Electrode maintenance
Over time, in addition to normal wear and tear of the electrode, the measurement will deteriorate,
depending on use and the quality of the water. A thin film of limescale will be deposited on the sensor's
sensitive element, along with other elements present in the pool water. To overcome this problem, we
recommend using the SENS008191-PDC pH or redox electrode cleaning solution and following the procedure
indicated on the bottle.
We advise you to change the electrode if the measurements no longer give good results, or if the quality
displayed after calibration is less than 50.
6.3 PICO pH wintering
It's important to know that when winterizing your machine, it's the peristaltic tube
that needs to be protected. We recommend that you pump clean water to rinse
the peristaltic tube, and, following the procedure described in point 4.2, set the
pump rollers to “12:30 position” (see pict).
