6.4 Electrode wintering
When wintering the electrode, it must be removed from the installation and made frost-free.
Clean the electrode with SENS008191-PDC cleaning solution. This will remove any deposits
that may have built up during use in swimming pool water.
The electrode's protective cap, 1/3 filled with SENS008184-PDC storage fluid, must be
replaced at the end of the probe. The whole unit should be stored frost-free at room
temperature.
6.5 Recommended and inadvisable chemicals
We recommend using sulfuric acid, which is 100% compatible with the Santoprene tube.
Hydrochloric acid is not recommended, as it can shorten the life of the peristaltic tube to just a few
weeks, and oxidize the pump's metal parts. In this case, the warranty will be void.
