5.0 INCORRECT MEASUREMENT AND SOLUTIONS
5.1 Incorrect measurement
If the measurement displayed on the device differs from the value obtained by another control method
(drops, strip, photometer): check if the TAC (Total Alkalinity Content) is greater than 100 mg/l.
5.2 TAC increase procedure
For having a stable pH: 80 mg/l < TAC < 120 mg/l
To add TAC to your pool, follow the procedure below:
Switch off pH and chlorine regulator.
Add the amount of TAC specified on the packaging to the pool. It's best to raise the TAC to 120
mg/l in one go.
Wait 4 hours for complete dissolution.
Switch on PICO pH pump.
When pH < 7.8, restart your chlorine disinfection system.
