What to do if burnish motor will not start in Pioneer Eclipse Floor Machine?
- MMichael SmithJul 31, 2025
If the burnish motor on your Pioneer Eclipse Floor Machine isn't starting, consider the following: * Ensure the deck isn't tilted into the pad change position. Lower it to the burnish position. * Check that the speed control knob isn't turned all the way counter-clockwise (off). Turn it clockwise to increase the speed. * Confirm the burnish switch is turned on. * Make sure the handle levers are engaged. * See if the 70A or 50A breaker has tripped. If so, push it to reset it. Note: Do not use round pads on the PE300BU30X, as they can cause the 50A breaker to trip and may damage the burnish motor, voiding the warranty. * The battery lockout might be active, indicating the batteries need to be charged.
