SIRIUS Tuner
Listening to the SIRIUS
You can use the navigation system to control a
SIRIUS satellite digital tuner, which is sold sepa-
rately.
For details concerning operation, refer to the SIR-
IUS tuner’s operation manuals. This section pro-
vides information on SIRIUS operations with
navigation system which differs from that
described in the SIRIUS tuner’s operation man-
ual.
(1) Source icon
Shows which source has been selected.
(2) Channel information display
Shows the various information of the channel.

(3) Preset list display
Shows the preset list.
1 Touch the source icon and then touch
“SIRIUS” to select the SIRIUS tuner.
2 Touch “BAND” to select a SIRIUS band.
Touch “BAND” repeatedly until the desired SIR-
IUS band is displayed, SR1, SR2 or SR3.
3 To perform tuning, touch or .
The channels move up or down step by step.
Channels that cannot currently be selected
are skipped, and the next channel is selected.
If you keep touching or , you can
increase or decrease channel number contin-
uously. You can also perform manual tuning
by moving the joystick left or right.
Display changes as follows when you
switch channels or operate in other ways.
The text of selected display* is automati-
cally scrolled.
CH NUMBER mode:

Storing and recalling broadcast
stations
If you touch any of the preset tuning keys “PRE-
SET 1” — “PRESET 6” you can easily store up to
six broadcast stations for later recall with the
touch of a key.
1 When you find a station that you want to
store in memory keep touching a preset
tuning key “PRESET 1” — “PRESET 6”
until displaying PCH1 SET (e.g., P.ch: 1).
The selected channel has been stored in
memory.
The next time you touch the same preset tun-
ing key “PRESET 1” — “PRESET 6” the
channel is recalled from memory.
When the touch panel keys are not displayed,
you can display them by touching the screen.
Up to 18 stations, 6 for each of three SIR-
IUS bands can be stored in memory.
You can also use moving the joystick up or
down to recall stations assigned to preset
tuning keys “PRESET 1” — “PRESET 6”.
