• [SPACE] Equivalent to the patients’ feedback switch
• [ESC] Interrupts the test
When difference of hearing levels at the Basic frequency and
the Control frequency is higher than the allowed tolerance the
whole measurement should be done again.
If the difference is considerable lower during the repeated
test means that the patient has learned the test and the whole test
should be done again.
If the difference is higher during the repeated test reason
should be revealed. Possible reasons:
• The headset is shifted from the ideal position
• The patient does not understand the procedure
Possible error messages
There are several reasons for an invalid measurement:
• The number of equivalent hearing levels is lower than
requested
• The hearing level at the Control frequency is lower than at
the Basic frequency and minus the allowed tolerance
• The hearing level at the Control frequency is higher than
at the Basic frequency and plus the allowed tolerance
• The sound pressure cannot be decreased anymore!
• The sound pressure cannot be increased anymore!
• The measurement was stopped.
With the exception of the last one, these error messages do
not happen in manual mode (see Possible problems and
solutions section).
