Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor
Replacement - 6.0L
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the starter.
2. Disconnect the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor
harness connector at the CKP sensor.
Important: Clean the area around the CKP sensor before
removal in order to avoid debris from entering the engine.
2. Remove the CKP sensor retaining bolt.
3. Remove the CKP sensor.

Installation Procedure
1. Install the crankshaft position sensor into the engine
block.
2. Install the crankshaft position sensor bolt.
Tighten
Tighten the crankshaft position sensor bolt to 25 N
.
m
(18 lb ft).
3. Install the starter.
