5. Carefully pull the fuel rail

and fuel injectors /
harness assembly

away from the engine. Dispose
of any fuel inside the fuel rail into a suitable fuel
container.
NOTICE
Discard the fuel injector O-rings. Fuel injectors are
serviced as an assembly. Do not attempt to replace
individual injectors.
6. Verify the two rubber bushings are not inside the fuel
injector bores. Remove with a soft-tipped pick if
bushings did not come out with injectors. Discard the
bushings.
7. If the fuel injector / harness assembly needs to be
replaced, remove the fuel injector harness
u
from the
wiring harness and remove the connector from the
connector placement bracket.
NOTICE
Do not attempt to disconnect the fuel injectors from the
sub harness.
8. Remove the cable ties
i
from the wire support.
NOTICE
Do not remove the cable tie securing the support to the
coolant hose.
9. Carefully remove the fuel injectors / harness
assembly.
