5. If the fuel injector / harness assembly was completely
removed, connect the fuel injector harness
y
to the
wiring harness and install the connector on the
connector placement bracket.
6. Route the fuel injector harness into and along the
side of the wire support securing the harness with
new cable ties

7. Reconnect the fuel return
i
and supply
o
quick-
disconnect fittings. Wipe away any spilled fuel using a
clean shop towel. Firmly pull on each hose
connection to verify the hoses are secured.
IMPORTANT
Do not apply excessive pressure to fuel fittings or clips.
Verify proper operation of the fitting and clip by lightly
pulling on fitting to ensure it is secure before completing
repair.
8. If removed, re-install the throttle body. See throttle
body installation.
TORQUE
Throttle Body Gear Clamps:
11 in-lbs (1.24 N·m)
NOTICE
Ensure clamp orientation is correct. See Component
Orientation Views page 3.54.
9. Secure the fuel injector wire leads to the throttle body
with new cable ties

10.Reinstall the air box assembly.
