If your Polaris Utility Vehicle engine stops or loses power, several factors could be responsible. Using poor quality or incorrect fuel can cause this issue, so replace it with the recommended fuel. A clogged fuel filter or air filter can also lead to power loss, so replace them. Water in the fuel is another possibility; replace the fuel with new fuel. Additionally, a kinked or plugged fuel tank vent line can cause these symptoms, so inspect and replace it if necessary. Other potential causes include being out of fuel, so refuel; low battery voltage, so recharge the battery to 12.8 VDC; or an overheated engine, so clean the radiator screen and core, clean the engine exterior, and operate at a lower load.
