OIL PUMP REMOVAL/INSPECTION, CONT.
6. Remove the three screws and strainer screen from
pump.
7. Clean screen thoroughly.
8. Remove pump body screw and feed chamber cover .
9. Measurepumpendclearanceusingafeeler gaugeand
straight edge.
Pump End Clearance:
Std: .001-.003 (.0254-.0762 mm)
Wear Limit: .004 (.1016 mm)
