PVT SYSTEM OPERATION
If the vehicle is operated in dusty areas, it will be necessary to clean the filter more
often. To clean the PVT filter:
1. Remove the screws and the crankcase cover.
2. Remove the screws and the filter cover.
3. Soak the filter in a mild detergent and rinse with clean wa ter.
4. Allow the filter to air dry and reinstall it.
If your vehicle is operated in salt water areas, it must be rinsed with fresh wa-
ter to prevent corrosion that can be caused by exposure to seawater.
