MAINTENANCE
Lower the exhaust system and remove the
restrictor washer (A).
Re-install the head pipe exhaust flange
nuts, the center mount bolt, and the spark
arrestor fasteners. Torque the spark arres-
tor first, then the center mount bolt and the
head pipe flange nuts last. Torque to 10 ft.
lbs. (1.0 kgf-m)
Spark Arrestor Restrictor
The Scrambler 90 and the Sportsman 90 utilize a restrictor at the spark arrestor
only.
Make certain the engine and exhaust system is cool to avoid burns.
Loosen the set screw of the exhaust restrictor o n the spark arrestor and remove
the exhaust restrictor.
