Exhaust System Restrictor
The exhaust restrictor system restricts
exhaust gas flow, reducing the maximum
power output of the engine.
Exhaust System Restrictor Removal
The Scrambler 50 utilizes a restrictor at
the headpipe exhaust flange and at the
spark arrestor.
Make certain the engine and exhaust
system is cool to avoid b urns.
Loosen the set screw (A) o f the exhaust
restrictor on the spark arrestor and remove the exhaust restrictor.
Remove the nuts at the headpipe exhaust flange, the center mount bracket bolts,
and the spark arrestor fasteners.
