Drive Chain Inspection an d Adjustment
Polaris ATV drive chains are equipped with O-ring sealed permanently greased pins
and rollers. However, it is still necessary to lubricate the outer surfaces of the roller.
Regularly lubricate the drive chain with SAE 80-90 lube or an approved O-ring chain
spray lube.
Indicates a potential hazard which could result in
severe injury or death .
WARNING
Never wash the chain with a high pressure washer or gasoline. Damage to the
O-rings will result, causing premature wear and drive chain failure.
