CAMSHAFT INSTALLATION - TIMING METHOD 1. CONT.
7. Install the sprocket on the camshaft. Apply Loctite
242 to the cam sprocket bolt and torque to
specifications.
8. Check all cam timing marks to verify proper cam
timing, and install the cam chain tensioner. See
Cam Chain Tensioner Installation page 3.60.
NOTE: The plated links will not align after engine
is rotated.
Cam Sprocket Bolt Torque:
25-29 ft. lbs. (34-40 Nm)
