to this IP address and returns an
echo message with specific
information when followed by any of
these parameters:
length
mps
reps
wai
echoport
locaport
For an echo message showing only the
default settings, omit optional
parameters.
“length”: Message length in bytes.
•“mps: Number of messages per
second (max = 100).
“reps”: Number of times to repeat
the message.
“wait”: Number of seconds to wait.
“echoport”: Port numbers to use.
“localport”: Port numbers to use.
