14. Recovery SD Card Procedure
Have the unit turned off for a few minutes in order to
completely discharge the internal capacitor’s bank.
With the unit still OFF, replace the original SD Card with
the X8 Recovery SD Card. (Provided to the authorized
service centre)
Switch the unit On, and complete the 6 steps portrayed
on (Fig. 31), est time 2.50 min.
Once completed, turn the unit OFF, restore the original
SD Card, and turn the unit ON again.

Unit in stand-by. Switch back on.
SD Card Recovery Complete.

14.1 Setting the Serial Number and MAC Address
1) Place the files “update_plain.sh” and “update-X4.bin” in case of an X4 amplifier or files “update_plain.sh” and
“update-X8.bin” in case of an X8 amplifier (from the folder you have copied on your PC: Recovery Procedure/Model setting) in
a FAT32 Formatted USB Pen Drive (4,8,16 GB max).
2) Plug the USB into your PC
3) Open the file “update -plain.sh” with the program Note Pad ++
4) Insert amp model, X4 or X8
5) Insert the serial number (see label on the cover)
