3. Slide one ⁵₁₆-inch flat washer and one ⁵₁₆-inch sleeve over
one of the ⁵₁₆-inch x 3¹₂-inch hex head bolts.

4. Insert the ⁵₁₆-inch x 3¹₂-inch hex head bolt, with the
washer and sleeve, into the screw hole on the inside of the
right-hand side arm. Attach a ⁵₁₆-inch nylon lock nut to
the end of the bolt and tighten partially.
Important: Be sure to insert the bolt into the inward side of
the side arm and apply the nut to the outward side, as shown
in the following figure. If the bolt is inserted in the other
direction, the side arm covers will not fit. Do not tighten
fasteners completely until instructed to do so.

5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 to attach the left-hand side arm
support to the left side arm.
