4. Repeat the procedure to remove the right brake pad.
Installation
1. Mount a magnetic gap fixture onto the left and right brake pads.
Note:It is recommended that a magnetic gap fixture (2x) be mounted on both the
left and right brake pads before starting the brake pad removal procedure.The fix-
ture will help to prevent accidental damage to the brake pad and/or scratching the
flywheel surface.
1. Reinstall the left and right brake pads onto the respective calipers and secure using
the two 3 mm hex key bolts (2x) and washers (2x). Loosely hand tighten the fasteners
allowing brake pad movement.
TIP: Increasing the resistance will move the calipers closer to the flywheel which
provides more room between the caliper and frame weldment to install the mount-
ing bolts and washers.
