3.8. Connection of thermal oil (only for thermal oil models DS/DL-
23/28D/35D)
The installation of the dryer with thermal oil heating must be compliant to current regulations.
The customer must connect the thermal oil to the machine at the connection designed for this
purpose through a valve (We recommend a 3-way valve to help the oil flow through the installation,
with a by-pass to the machine when the thermal supply is not required).
The machine supplies an active 230 V signal when an oil intake is required.
The measurement of the supply and drainage valve must be suitable for the pressure, flow and
temperature in accordance with the machine requirements. The diameter should not be less than
the dryer input and output flanges.
The dryers, models DS/DL-23/28D/35D, normally operate with thermal fluid flows between 5,02 and
5,4 m3/h and an input temperature of approximately 180 ºC.
