If your Pro-Form Treadmill isn't powering on, ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both a surge suppressor and a properly grounded outlet. Also, verify that the key is correctly inserted into the console. Finally, check the power switch on the treadmill frame near the power cord; if it's tripped (protruding), wait five minutes, then press it back in to reset.

How to fix Pro-Form 515 Tx Treadmill walking belt slowing down when walked on?
    • A
      Ashley JonesAug 22, 2025
If the walking belt on your Pro-Form Treadmill slows down when you walk on it, it might be overtightened, which can decrease performance and damage the belt. To fix this, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Then, use a hex key to turn both idler roller screws counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn. Next, locate the Reed Switch and the Magnet plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until the walking belt is properly tightened.
