When installing the
L-Track how many holes should
be drilled per track?
Standard track drilling pattern =
holes every 4” (102mm).
Is it necessary to put sealant
between oor anchorages
and oor?
We recommend to use sealant between
oor anchorages and oor.
Is it necessary to put sealant

Backing Plate?
We recommend to use sealant between oor
and Backing Plate.
After Shoulder Belt Retractor
was installed on the oor, the
webbing is getting stuck.
For proper webbing movement, mounted
retractor MUST be at 0º (zero degree) rotation
with respect to vertical access.
After Shoulder Belt Retractor
was installed on the wall,
the webbing is getting stuck.
Shoulder Belt Retractor in mounted position
MUST be at 90° (degrees) horizontal to ensure
proper webbing movement.

Can other hardware be used?
We recommend to use hardware
with minimum Grade 8 which meets
regulations and is coated for adequate protection
against corrosion.
The QER Electrical Retractors will
not self-retract the webbing.
The Electrical Retractors must be Powered O
in order for the webbing to self-tract
into the retractor.
