BATTERY CONNECTIONS
BATTERY HOOK-UP FOR CONSOLE HARNESS
1) Connect the 10 gauge white wire to the negative post of the battery. Install fuseholder and
20 amp fuse on 16 gauge red wire.
2) A relay must be installed between the red 10 gauge wires and the battery. The relay is
normally controlled from the accessory side of the ignition switch. See Figure 6A.

NOTE: Disconnect console battery wires if the system is not used for an extended
period, (i.e. two weeks). With the POWER switch to OFF, the system draws 9
milliamps of current to maintain information stored in the Console.
