VCM100powerandgroundingrequirements.
TheVCM100isintendedforuseonshipsDCpowersystemsoperatingfrom12to24VoltsDC.
TheVCM100mustbeconnectedtoabatteryisolatorswitch,oraDCdistributionpanel.
ThebatteryisolatorswitchorDCdistributionpanelmustbeconnectedtothePOWERINterminals
oftheVCM100.
DoNOTconnectadditionalpowerswitchestothecableprovidingthepowerfeedtotheVCM100.
AllpowerconnectionsbetweentheVCM100andthepowersourcemusthaveappropriatefuse
protection.
Allpowerconnectionsmustbeofhighqualitytominimizeresistanceandtoremovetherisk
ofaccidentalshorts.
TheVCM100SCREENterminalsmustbeconnectedtoyourvessel'sRFgroundsystem.
DoNOTconnecttheradarscannerortheVCM100toapositively-groundedpowersystem.
